Taste Testing

Our fully trained supervisors and interviewers are extremely careful and competent in the preparation and presentation of food and beverage products for taste testing. We offer a highly professional service for testing a diverse range of products, including, for example, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, mixers, ice cream, pizzas, and many other products. We are highly experienced in conducting food tests and beverage tests or drinks tests.

We have established a reliable network of central locations to conduct taste testing research across the UK. We use venues in central locations in most major cities, as well as our own fully-equipped venue in Birmingham.

We use venues with appropriate facilities to meet your requirements for taste testing. For example, freezer, refrigeration and cooking facilities for the storage and serving of beverages and food. Food can be cooked or prepared and served within the venues according to your precise specifications. When testing beverages these are accurately measured out and presented as required for the beverage testing.

Taste testing can be carried out individually with an interview, or you might wish to consider a workshop approach for a grouping of respondents for your food testing or drinks testing.

If you do not want the brand to be known, for example to avoid bias, we can conduct a blind taste test or blind testing.

We offer CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing) using our iPads, and we also offer CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing) using our laptops or iPads.

We pre-recruit respondents for longer surveys. We can also recruit respondents in-street prior to inviting them to the venue for taste testing. We are able to screen and interview a significant number of respondents in a single day, whilst ensuring we speak to a representative sample. This is based on your specifications with regard to demographics, usage, brand acceptance, and other factors.

Our interviewers and supervisors appreciate the importance of following strict criteria to ensure there is no cross-contamination, that visual effects are uniform and that the measuring of products is accurate and consistent.
